Year 9 are studying a unit called 'Exploring Europe' which looks at the natural and human features of Europe and also explores the political issues in Europe at the moment.

Today we have learned:
that the River Seine goes through France;
about the natural and man-made features of Europe
in Berlin the wall got knocked down in the 1980s
canals aren't natural features
if you spit off the Eifell Tower you can knock someone out
We have learnt that in the North of Italy theres a river called The River Po and we have also learnt that the mountain ranges in Norway are called the Jolenheim mountains.
Today, In geography we learnt~~~ The differences between natural and manmade features in Europe. We learnt that rivers, mountains and seas are natural features, eg the river Siene in France, The Atlantic Ocean, near the uk and the mountain range The Pyerenees bodering France And Spain.
today we learnt that europe has very good living conditions compared to other places we also made our own country and tried to make it as good as we could. some of the qualities in our country were flat land and fertile soil
Today we learned about what affects the climate and some major factors, for example the north atlantic drift warms up the west coast of the UK in the winter, by warming the wind
the macho men said that today we have learned that about europes climate andb that if you are closer to the coast the4 colder it will be :) bye bye cheese
today in mrs.jordans class we learned what the southern italy way of of life is like. We also learned that many men who live in southern italy are farmers. By liam davison( A.K.A the best)
We worked ingroups today and looked at how we could help the South of Italy. We thought that todays work was good because we learnt about the possible improvements eg: making a dam and planting trees and how to improve the farming.
Today Was Great, We Worked In Groups And Talked About How We Could Help The Sounth Of Italy, To Make It A Better Place. We Thouroughly Enjoyed Todays Lesson, As It Makes A Change To Just Sitting There Doing Work Out Of Books =]
today i learnt how the south and the north live in italy and the south is less developed part of italy and i the north it is a high standard of living because it has more services and also it has got more education and tht is wat i av learned
